A film története egy kisvárosról szól, ahol egy sorozatgyilkos, és egy ősi átok számol fel a lakósokkal. A főhős kislányát sem kímélve. Matt, az apa, egyben a helyi nyomozó is, végül kézre keríti és megöli a sorozatgyilkost. Ám az ősi átkot nem tudja megállítani. Ezért Grecie-hez fordul, aki woodoo mágiával foglalkozik.
